Easter

Hey Guys (and gals),
So the last five days were Easter and on Monday I went to Kashyapa's house and we went down to Alex Moore where we played football. While we were playing down at Alex Moore, there were other boys that were much older than us and they were playing a few meters away from us. Usually they would kick balls towards us and we kicked them back every time. I guess you could say that's something nice we did. That's what we always do if anyone kicks balls near us. One time we did that and to some older kids and they let us play a game of football with them. I reckon it's a lot easier for them because then they don't have to walk over to us and kick them back themselves. especially when they're tired. So I guess the moral is do the right thing and you will be rewarded.

Anyway that's all for this weeks. See you all next week.

Peace

Camp B@nter

Hey guys (and gals) last week was camp and it went pretty darn well. I guess from 1 part that I will not explain for a few reasons. But otherwise it went great. Camp started on Monday and ended on Friday. On Monday we drove up to camp and then got all the info about where everything was and that kind of stuff. On the second day we did low ropes (these low ropes were about 40cm off the ground), orienteering and climbed a tree with everyone in our group harnessed to the same rope. After the fist tiring day we had a rest and then the very next day we did even more tiring things. We started the day by hiking for about 20 minutes to the top of a 100ft cliff where we later abseiled down. We later went caving which was my second favourite activity. The next day we canoed for roughly 3 hours to a campsite called 'Apple Tree.' We camped there for the night and then the next morning we canoed again to a 5 metre bridge where we jumped off it. After that crazy business we drove back to camp and then drove to school and that was the and of camp.

Anyway the most challenging part was probably coping with the group I was in. (the rest of the boys will know what I mean). I found caving the easiest probably because I was too O P for the cave. Camp was not really what I expected. I thought it would have been harder. My proudest moment was when I jumped off the bridge. My favourite moment was also jumping off the bridge which was my favourite activity.

Anyway guys (and gals) that was camp b@nter for you. See you guys next time

Camp

Hey guys (and gals)
Next week is year 8 camp and I cant wait for it. One of the best things about camp is that my dad is coming and he's been there before with my sister so he'll have some experience. I cant wait for high ropes and pretty much every other obstacle course 'cause i'm really good at them.

Tomake this the best camp in history, everyone is going to have to be respectful, encouraging and has to participate in everything. I'm not nervous about anything because i am a really adventurous person. But now that I think about it the thing that i'm most nervous about is taking a dump (if i have to) in the long drop.

Anyway that's it for the week so see you guys (and gals) in 2 weeks

Peace
